VCAMS removes the need for active manpower stand-by at a fixed centralised location by exploiting the extensive communications reach that the technology has provided. Engineers on stand-by are notified automatically by VCAMS (via SMS) when a pre-set alarm is triggered by the remote monitoring site. With powerful querying facilities and a robust reporting system, all important information can be transmitted to the appropriate parties within seconds, without the need for a human operator.

Sophisticated remote messaging

Alarms and other event triggering signals can be transmitted via a myriad of mechanisms including, but not limited to, GSM mobile phone messaging (SMS), alphanumeric paging, fax, e-mail and Interactive Voice Response Systems (IVRS) at an optional cost.

Alarm events can be transmitted through a PSTN to VCAMS and Multiple notification parties can be activated upon the receipt of a single event trigger, making VCAMS an extremely low-cost yet high-speed response system.
